Birthdays are the occasion we deliver most, and the one where timing matters more than size. A box that arrives on the morning of the day beats a bigger one that turns up late — so if you can, pick the date and an early time slot rather than leaving it to chance.
If you’re ordering from abroad, remember the day starts in Thailand while you’re still asleep. Choose a morning slot in Thai time and it will be waiting for them when they wake up, whatever hour it is where you are.
What actually goes down well
Flowers and a cake is the combination we send most, and it works because it covers both halves of a birthday — something to look at and something to share. If the birthday is being celebrated with family or colleagues, a cake earns its place; if it’s just the two of you, put the money into the flowers instead.
For a Thai partner, a birthday is often a family occasion rather than a private one. Something that can be shared around a table tends to land better than something personal that has to be opened alone.
The card matters more than the box
We handwrite every card, and in our experience it’s the part people keep. Three specific sentences beat a page of general warmth — mention something only the two of you would understand, say what you’re looking forward to, and sign it properly.
If your Thai isn’t fluent, write it in English and ask us to add a Thai line underneath. We do this most days and we’re happy to help with the phrasing.

Yes. Order before 2 PM and we deliver the same afternoon. If you want it to arrive in the morning of the birthday, order a day ahead and choose an early time slot — that way there’s no risk from traffic or a busy day.
What should I send for a Thai girlfriend’s birthday?
Our Cherished box is what most people choose — a large bouquet, a cake, a teddy and balloons. It reads as generous without being excessive. If her family will be there, the cake matters; if not, a bigger bouquet and a keepsake is the better use of the money.
Can I order a birthday gift weeks in advance?
Yes, and we’d encourage it. Choose any future date at checkout and we’ll hold it. If you’d rather not think about it again, our reminder service will message you before the date each year.
