Worth knowing
Sending something to someone unwell
Hospital deliveries need a little more care than most, and the thing people get wrong is assuming flowers are always welcome. Some wards restrict them — particularly intensive care and anywhere with immunocompromised patients — and a bouquet turned away at the door helps nobody.
Tell us the hospital and ward when you order and we’ll check. If flowers won’t be allowed we’ll suggest something that always is, and you’ll know before the driver sets off rather than afterwards.
Getting it to the right bed
Give us the hospital name, the ward and the room or bed number if you have it, plus the patient’s phone or a relative’s. Pattaya’s hospitals are large and a name alone is rarely enough — most of our failed deliveries anywhere in the city come down to an incomplete address.
Visiting hours matter too. We’ll aim for a slot when someone can receive it rather than leaving it at a nurses’ station, unless you’d rather we did.
What to send instead of flowers
Fresh fruit is the standard here and always welcome — it’s what Thai families bring. A comfort set with honey and tea works for someone recovering at home. A small soft toy is right for a child, and for a longer stay something to do beats something to look at.
Keep the card light. Someone in a hospital bed doesn’t need a paragraph about how worried you are — a short, warm, ordinary message does more good.
Questions about this occasion
Can you deliver to a hospital in Pattaya?
Yes, we do it regularly. Give us the hospital, ward and room number plus a contact number. If the ward restricts fresh flowers we’ll tell you before delivery and suggest a fruit basket or comfort set instead.
What’s a good get well gift that isn’t flowers?
A fresh fruit basket is the most reliable choice and what Thai families traditionally bring. Honey and tea comfort sets suit someone recovering at home, and a small plush toy works for a child.
Which hospitals do you deliver to?
All of them across Pattaya and the surrounding Chonburi area — Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Pattaya Memorial, Banglamung and the smaller clinics. Tell us the ward and we’ll handle the rest.
